Readers will remember that at the end of March Anthony hosted a small dinner for the moderation staff and writers at a restaurant in San Francisco and posted about it here. A number of us couldn’t make it, so I proposed a summer-time get-together for those of us on the East Coast at my home on the Connecticut shore.

I am pleased to announce that the WUWT East Coasters Picnic will take place on Saturday, August 18 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. Several of the East Coast moderators and contributors plan to come and Anthony rearranged his schedule to be able to attend.

We would like to extend an invitation to our commenters to join us as well. I can accommodate an additional twenty or so guests. If you would like to attend and put a face to some of the names, just post your request and I will send you an e-mail. I’ll look forward to meeting you.
